The Midwest Urban Music Awards and Rapper's Ball was conceptualized and produced by Dianna Fourte to celebrate the growing and ever changing culture of Hip-Hop in the Midwest. It also served as a vehicle to bridge and encourages the spirit of cross promotion between DJ Coalitions, Program Directors, Independent Artists, Management and labels.
Of course, The M.U.M.A.'s and The Inaugural Rapper’s Ball could not be possible without OTB Organizing Group & D.U.B. L.I.F.E. Entertainment, the official Partners of these two great events and the support of our gracious sponsors Chi City Inc, The Jersey Sound Lab, Hunid Racks , Indy CLUB Hopper, C.O.M.E. CLEAN Entertainment and Divine Diva Catering. These reputable companies aligned together with this event, to make it a major success.
Red Carpet Status
The red carpet was out. The video was rolling. And the cameras were flashing. The media roster included over 15 of the Midwest's hottest urban internet, social media and print journalist. For one night, Chicago looked like Los Angeles Blvd.
